Drew Brown, IV, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Medicus Spine & Joint. Patients can choose the nearest office from the five offices in Brunswick, Georgia; Mt. Pleasant and Bluffton, South Carolina; and Gainesville and Jacksonville, Florida.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas (UT) in Austin while playing as an NCAA Division I Basketball student-athlete. Shortly after, he obtained his medical degree at the Tufts University of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
His post-doctoral training includes a Surgical Internship, Research Fellowship, and Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and a Spine Fellowship at the San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders in La Jolla, California.

Dr. Brown has served as Visiting Professor and Orthoapedic Spine Surgeon at FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital in Accra, Ghana, and worked as an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Florida Orthopedic Specialists in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Laser Spine Institute in Tampa and as Medical Director and Spinal Surgeon at The Nexxus Spine Institute in Riverview and Fort Myers.
